My top 10 Drugstore Beauty Products

I decided that I wanted to share with all of you my top 10 drugstore beauty products. There is only one thing that can make a woman feel super amazing everyday, which is MAKE-UP! Don't get me wrong I think most women are gorgeous without any thing on their face but trust me I'm a woman and every time I put makeup on it makes me feel like I'm the most beautiful person ever. Haha okay that is a little fabricated but really it makes me feel lots better about myself, and I know all women can testify to that! One reason why I love drugstore makeup is because you can get almost the same product as a name brand for less. I do recommend a lot of name brand makeup products but if you don't have the means to buy them here is another alternative. Here are some products that I have either in my kit or have been able to test out that are truly amazing!

Maybaline mascara is my all time favorite drug store mascara. I love the old fashion pink and green one. This particular style just came out a couple months ago, I love the bristles at the end because it leaves no clumps and separates every lash. You can get this for about $4 at any drug store.
These lashes have become my favorite  product for fall. They have a super easy application using strings. I have worn a lot of lashes and these are the only ones that I have found that don't bug me at all or hurt. It really feels like you have nothing on. I recommend these very much. You can get separate ones for about $3 dollars but I like the ones in a pack which come with 6 pairs for only $12.
Although this product is a little pricey for what it actually is, this is one of my favorite lipsticks I have tried. Lipstick is in this season with all the bright pinky peach and red colors. My favorite color is Satin Rosewood. It has just the right amount of shimmer but also has a matte finish. This goes for about $9.
I personally don't like to spend a lot of money on concealer just for the fact that I only use it once in while. I love this Hard Candy Heavy Duty Glamoflauge concealer! It has total coverage and doesn't look cakey at all. I also love that it comes with a concealer pencil for those under eye places. It costs about #6 only at Walmart.
My favorite blush of all time is actually Wet N Wild but this is my next alternative is this Fit Me blush by Maybaline. It is very soft to the skin. You can get this for about $7.
Besides the other Maybaline mascara, I absolutely love the Falsies mascara from Maybaline as well. It really does make you look like you are wearing real false lashes and that's why I like it. It does have a really weird smell so all you people that are sensitive to smell I wouldn't recommend this. You can get it for about $6.
I love all Maybaline mini eye shadow pallets. I can not even tell you how many of these I have because I love them so much. You never know what type of color you are going to want to wear on a certain day and this is an amazing product for that. They go for about $5.
One of my favorite products is Covergirls loose translucent loose powder. It is very soft on the skin and smells amazing with a lot of full coverage. It's about $6.
This is my ALL TIME favorite product that I have ever used in my life. I love this Gel liner from Maybaline! I use it almost everyday. It goes on really smooth and easy to fix any errors. Plus it comes with a really good application brush. I recommend this product to everyone! It's about $8.
Personally this is my favorite foundation in a drug store. I tend to have oily skin and this is the only foundation that I have found that helps my oily skin. It is very paint like so it have a ton of coverage if that is what you are looking for. It's amazing! It goes for $11.

Shed them pounds!

So I'm a little embarrassed to write this post. I decided that I would share with you my ever excruciating month of me trying to loose weight. I'm going to share with you my weight that I started at and the weight that I am currently at within the month.  I feel like this post could potentially help people to be more active and think about your longtime health instead of what you want at the moment. Yes, I have definitely had my struggle of punching those hamburgers, french fries and candy away to loose weight and have had a poor attitude some of the time, but then I look at it in a better light and think to myself, this is really going to help my life out for the better and if I continue to do this that I will live a long and healthy life, which I hope most of you want as well. Alright the moment of truth..... October 1, 2011 was the first day that I did a weigh in and the first day of me working out and eating right, I weighed in at a whopping 150lbs which is really hard for me to say because that is the most that I have ever weighed! I totally was not expecting to weight that much but after I began thinking about it I had been eating out religiously, probably like 3-4 times a week and I hadn't worked since about February of this year.....Ahhh I know, I'm so embarrassed! I'm still a little hesitant to share my weight right now but I feel great about myself. As of this date November 9, 2011 I weigh....138lbs although I still have a few more pounds to loose till I'm at my goal weight which is 130lbs I feel absolutely accomplished! There is no better way to describe how I feel at this moment with it only being a little over a month and I have already lost 12lbs! Even though I do have to go through some tough workouts and don't get to eat as much as I would like to, I wouldn't have it any other way. I am so great full that I have the strength to be able to workout like I do and the good health that I will continue to have.  I know I said this in my last post about being healthy but I really want to encourage everyone who is reading this right now to just be active for at least 30 minutes a day and choose wisely with the foods that you eat. I'm telling you, it has been the best attitude booster I have ever had! I hope that my story can help many of you out there because working out really does make a difference:)

Halloween Shin Digs!

This Halloween was pretty dang awesome to say the least. I was able to participate in a lot of thing throughout the weekend of Halloween. It was nice to have my sister and her family come visit, it made things much more fun having the kiddos around. For the past three weeks I was able to be a part of the "The Asylum" which is a haunted house located at the old hospital here in cedar, where I got to let my artistic self come out. I basically did about every body's make up for those 10 days and it was awesome I'm so glad I was able to be a part of that. Unfortunately every time I did it I forgot to bring my camera so I have no pictures to display for that, but if you went through then I'm sure you got to see my talent:) Also, My awesome mom started a tradition a couple years ago that we always have a themed dinner on certain holidays. Sunday was our Halloween dinner, where we dressed up and had a yummy dinner prepared by my wonderful mother, we also were able to take our family holiday pictures that day since the whole family was together, which is very rare, but it was nice! On Halloween we didn't do anything real special but Tyler and I decided we wanted to dress up no matter what, if we decided to do something or not. I had to do make up over at The Asylum that night but other than that sure enough we just sat at home till about 10:00 when we decided to go out to dinner all dressed up with my brother and his girlfriend Alexis. All in all my Halloween weekend was a success! Here are a ton of pictures taken from all the extravaganzas that happened this weekend.
